Bec Chau is a student in the 2022-23 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).
Bec is a strategic designer exploring the values and lived realities of people to co-create enriching urban experiences and reimagine our systems. Her practice is rooted in design research, systemic design and urbanism. She has worked in Australia, UK, USA and Singapore across education, culture, mobility, property, urban environments and civic technology. Her recent work has focused on community-led infrastructure, racial equity and the city, and twenty-first century institutions and public services. Bec is currently working in Arup鈥檚 Studio, a strategic, service and user experience design practice focused on creating just and equitable cities.
