This week, Professor Mirco Musolesi steppedÌýdown as Turing University Lead after four years as Õ¬ÄÐÊÓƵ research lead with the Turing.

In what is believed to be a first for a Turing University Partner, UCL hasÌýdecided to create a Turing University Team (TUT) to replace Mirco, inÌýview of the time-consuming nature of this role.

After a competition and selection process, the new team comprises:

• Professor Elsa Arcaute - Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA)
• Dr Irina Brass - Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP)
• Professor Miguel Rodrigues - Electronic and Electrical Engineering

ÌýRosie Niven continues in her role as University Liaison Manager, the admin lead,Ìýand will assist with the handover between Mirco and the new team.

ÌýThe team will have a lead who will attend the meetings, while the other members will deputise and take on specific responsibilities designed to ensure that we get the very most from the valuable relationship with the Turing. ÌýThe roles will rotate between the participants with Miguel, taking on the role for the 2022-23Ìýacademic years.Ìý

UCL's Turing university partner board member, Nigel Titchner-Hooker, said:
