We are very proud to announce that Kenneth Sánchez has been awarded the Amnesty Media Award for Student Journalism, for his pieceÌýEscaping the Chaos: Venezuelans in Peru, which was Kenneth'sÌýfinal-year journalistic investigationÌýas an undergraduate at theÌý.ÌýThis pieceÌýhad already garnered two previous accolades: theÌýÌý(as well as becomingÌýfinalist in theÌý),Ìýand the Best Education Story - Shorthand Award.

The winners of ’s prestigious Amnesty Media Awards 2020 were announced on September 30 2020. Kenneth shared the virtual winners' podium with widely recognised names in journalism such as the BBC, The Sunday Telegraph, The Guardian and ITV, amongst others.
