Support and Wellbeing at UCL History of Art

We work together to support our students and staff. Below we have signposted some advice and support streams available to you at UCL and beyond.

Student Support at UCL

  • The Student Support and WellbeingÌýteam of expert wellbeing, disability and mental health advisers provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space, in which you can discuss any issues that may be affecting

The new app programme is calledÌýPositiveÌýPIEÌý(Psychologically Informed Environments)ÌýandÌýis designed to equip you with tools and techniques that can support youÌýat university and in the future.
  • °Õ³ó±ðÌýÌýcontains information about student life and campaigns at UCL, their student sabbatical officers and general and specialised events. There is also a very usefulÌýguide for UCL staffÌýto support student's mental health and well-being.

  • UCL have a dedicated area for international student supportÌýwhere you can find information onÌýhealthcare, banking, transport and safety.Ìý

Staff SupportÌýat UCL

  • Being Well at UCLÌýcontains staff resources for wellbeing, including resources and tools to help you learn skills for a healthy mind, body and work life.
  • The Employee Assistance Programme is a staff support service providing 24/7, confidential mental health support on a variety of platforms, covering both personal and work-related matters.
  • If you feel able there are also ways in which you can contribute to wellbeing support at UCL, including becoming a Wellbeing Champion in your department.

External Support and ResourcesÌý

  • is a registered charity aimed at providing emotional support to anyone in emotional distress, struggling to cope, or at risk of suicide throughout Great Britain and Ireland, often through their telephone helpline.
