Dr Kieron Stanley has an academic background in the social psychology and cultural geography of the environment, food and rural affairs. AfterÌýacademia he led an action research programme on environmentalÌýinequalities across the UK funded jointly by the Environment AgencyÌýand Defra. He has research experience in West Africa and EuropeÌýand has worked with a number of different organisations; as a SpecialÌýAdvisor at the UN WHO, and in Strasbourg with the FrenchÌýGovernment and pan-European Institutions. Kieron has experience inÌýdifferent roles across government having worked previously in theÌýCabinet Office, and across Defra, having been part of the NaturalÌýEnvironment White Paper team, as well as in chemicals and emergingÌýtechnologies prior to his current role in the food unit.Ìý
