Bartlett interdisciplinary research secures £30,000 funding

Six interdisciplinary research projects, each involving significant Bartlett collaboration, have been awarded nearly £30,000 of funding.

The awards, part of , were announced on 20 December 2011. In all six successful projects, Bartlett researchers acted as lead applicant, main collaborator or additional collaborator.

The projects, which received £29,452 in total, demonstrate the Bartlett's commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration both within the Faculty and across . In many cases, partners in industry and other UK universities were also involved.

These awards will enable the Bartlett to develop its world-leading research, as well as expand its multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary activity.

The UCL Grand Challenges Small Grants Programme funds projects that lead to, or support, cross-disciplinary collaboration under the broad headings of Global Health, , Intercultural Interaction and .
