Yuki Hoshino

Yuki Hoshino is a student in the 2022-23 cohort of UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)'s Master of Public Administration (MPA).

After studying medicine at the University of Tokyo and obtaining an MD license, Yuki started his career at the Government of Japan (Cabinet Office and Cabinet Secretariat), and he was engaged in policymaking of macroeconomics and industrial strategy (Abenomics), education, labor, and social welfare.
He joined Roland Berger as a management consultant in 2019 and joined McKinsey in 2021. In these global consulting firms, he contributed to several projects, such as organizational transformation and business due diligence. Outside the workplace, he is a policy owner of Public Meets Innovation, a Japanese institute that seeks to facilitate collaboration among the public, businesses, and citizens.
