An online project curated by , Professor of Pharmacognosy (Medicinal Plant research), UCL School of Pharmacy, with monographs specially written by UCL postgraduate students of Pharmacognosy.
The on the north-east corner of garden was set up in 2010 by Dr Vivienne Lo (UCL Centre for Chinese Health and Humanity) with the generous support of the Wellcome Trust Centre for the History of Medicine. It now stands as a memorial to Dr Lo's mother, , who contributed many of the original plants from her garden in Snowdonia.
