This certificated course is aimed at medical students, junior doctors and others who are interested in ophthalmology as a potential career choice. It will be presented by experienced ophthalmologists and scientists and will cover interesting clinical and ground-breaking scientific aspects of the discipline. The course will be offered in a mixed format, including a practical day where students will be taught to use specialist equipment on patients who have common ophthalmic problems. There will be plenty of discussion sessions and a poster session for student presentations.
