The UCL Academic Communication Centre (ACC) is for all students, to support you to communicate critically and confidently at university, and to help you understand what is expected of you in your assignments.听

听 - Writing retreats听provide a supportive, motivating environment to work on your own writing.
听 - Writing process workshops听give you strategies for writing and opportunities for practice.
听 - Reading and note-taking courses听support you in becoming a more critical and effective academic reader.
听 - Grammar for academic writing courses听are for听students with English as an additional language听to improve your grammar knowledge and usage, and to help you write more clearly.
听 - Postgraduate academic writing courses听enable you to communicate critically and confidently in your writing at Master鈥檚 level.
听 - Postgraduate dissertation/research project writing courses听introduce you to the key aspects of writing your dissertation/research project and support you with writing this longer piece of research at Master鈥檚 level.
听 - Oral communication workshops听support you in developing your confidence and fluency in academic speaking.
听 - GenAI and the writing process workshops听help听you take a critical stance towards the use of GenAI tools, particularly for use in the writing process.
听 - One-to-one tutorials听can be used to work on, for example: the language and structure of your writing; to practice a presentation; to discuss learning strategies and the transition to postgraduate study; to help you in understanding the specific requirements and conventions of an assignment that you are working on.
听 - Asynchronous resources听are available on a dedicated Moodle to support you in key areas of academic communication.
