Biography
Victoria is a barrister and mediator at 39 Essex Chambers where she specialises in health and social care law, and in particular the Court of Protection.聽 She has appeared in a number of leading cases concerning mental capacity, deprivation of liberty, and the provision or withdrawal of medical treatment to babies, children and adults, and represents disabled children and adults who have been subjected to physical restraint and abuse.聽聽聽聽
Victoria is a member of the Nuffield Council on Bioethics and the law reform charity JUSTICE, and is an advisor to various academic projects.聽聽
