Stakeholder Engagement

Our Work Package 1 is dedicated to Systems-level needs, with the aim toÌýbreak down One-Health silos and build a new culture of engagement between academics, the public, patients, charities, clinicians, industry, regulators, policymakers and the media, to identify the opportunities and barriers to digital health innovation for AMR prevention.

We will convene conferences and workshops with a broad range of stakeholders, including key thought leaders, NICE, industry and charities to identify systems-level needs in the UK and internationally, opportunities and barriers to digital health technologies for AMR, aligned to the UK national 5- year AMR strategy. We will explore new ways of data capture, merging of biomarkers/ outcome data to enable more technologically enabled research into AMR across the ecosystem – spanning humans, animals and theÌýenvironment. We also aim to impact policy working with UKHSA in considering the best use of information for public health action, and research through developing interdisciplinary skills and education, funding streams and strengthening surveillance and stewardship. We will also publish aÌýstakeholder directoryÌýincluding SMEs and create an AMR digital health observatory of international best practice.Ìý
