Description

This module is only for affiliate students at UCL for Term 1 only.

The module continues from Russian B and is a pre-requisite for Russian D. This module covers prefixed verbs of motion, solidifies all grammatical case endings (singular and plural), expands vocabulary to about 2000 words, develops such spoken and written topics as 鈥淗ealth鈥�, 鈥淧ersonal interests鈥�, 鈥淩ussian cities鈥�, 鈥漅ussian geography鈥�, 鈥淭ravelling Around Russia鈥� etc.. Articles from Russian newspapers, Russian news video clips, popular songs supplement the textbook. Equal emphasis is paid to speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. There are regular tests and students are expected to use the on-line workbook to reinforce their knowledge.
