Biography

I obtained my Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering in 2017 from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India in 2017. After that, I worked for a year with a pharmaceuticals industry, where I worked in the cogeneration department. Then, I moved to Indian Institute of Technology, Ropar to pursue Masters in mechanical engineering with a specialization in Fluids and Thermal. Currently, I am pursuing PhD in mechanical engineering at UCL under the supervision of Prof. Manish K. Tiwari.

Research Summary

In my PhD project, I am working on nanoengineered substrates for anti-icing. The goal of the project is to come up with a coating through which ice can be removed passively by wind shear or under the influence of gravity. My PhD is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No. 956703.
