New CNIE article by Nidhi Kapil published in Chemical Communications (Royal Society of Chemistry)

Our new article on the "Gold nanoparticles with tailored size through ligand modification for catalytic applications " has just appeared, open access, in (), and can be read .

In this article, we have reported a facile approach to synthesise gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) using various gold precursors. The core size of these AuNPs can be precisely tailored by varying the steric hindrance imposed by bound ligands. These materials can be used for various technological applications and their catalytic applications are demonstrated in this article. This work is the result of excellent collaboration with researchers from the UCL Centre for Nature-Inspired Engineering (CNIE) and , who also funded this project.
