All major areas of philosophy can be studied at UCL. We cover branches such as political thought, epistemology and metaphysics, and also draw upon the writings of Ancient and Modern philosophers to place your studies in a historical context.

There are several ways to study philosophy as an undergraduate at UCL.

UCL offers a one year (taught) MA in Philosophy, suitable for students with an undergraduate degree in a different subject.

UCL offers two graduate research degrees in philosophy: our MPhil Stud and our PhD.
