Bahar Karimi is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Centre on US Politics (CUSP) at UCL.ÌýHer doctoral research at King’s College London focused on the examination of USÌýpolicy decisions toward Iran in the lead up to the revolution, using a neoclassical realist framework to identify how threat perceptions shaped the decision-making process. Her research interests include USÌýforeign policy toward the Middle East and Iran in particular; the lessons learned from previous USÌýpolicies and how they can inform decisions today; and the effect of the organisation of institutional structures on the policy decision-making process.
