Calling all Laser Safety Officers! Join the next LSO Forum

Are you a Laser Safety Officer at UCL? The Radiation Protection Team is hosting an in-person forum specifically for you on Thursday 6 June 2024.

Laser Safety Officers play a vital role at 宅男视频 in protecting people from laser hazards. The Laser Safety Forum is an opportunity for you to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in UCL policies. The Forum will be held on 6 June 2024.

聽This one-hour session will focus on the following areas:

  • Laser Safety SharePoint site: An introduction to the new Laser Safety SharePoint and the 10-Step Guide to Working Safely with Laser Systems.
  • Higher-Power Laser Working Group: Get the latest updates and insights from the Higher-Power Laser Working Group.聽
  • Managing external contractors with lasers: Participate in an interactive activity designed to equip you with strategies and best practices for effectively managing external contractors who work with lasers within your departments.

Who can attend?

This forum is open to all UCL Laser Safety Officers who have completed the mandatory Laser Safety Officer training course. Attendance is by invitation only.
