Trudeau Foundation Scholarship

The Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation offers a three-year leadership program. At least 12 Scholars will be selected for the leadership program, and will receive generous funding for their studies

Available to: Students in year 1 or 2听or those who have been accepted into a research degree
Selection criteria: Academic merit
Eligible fee status: Overseas
Eligible programmes: Research degrees
Additional eligibility criteria:听Canadian citizen

Eligibility

The 听is offering at least 12 scholarships annually to听current听MPhil/PhD students and those who have been accepted into a research Degree听who carry out research in areas related to the Foundation's four themes in the social sciences and humanities:

    • Human Rights and Dignity
    • Responsible Citizenship
    • Canada in the World
    • People and their Natural Environment

    You must be a Canadian citizen studying at a Canadian or foreign institution, or a non-Canadian (permanent resident or foreign national) enrolled in a doctoral program at a Canadian institution.

    Value, benefits, and duration

    The scholarships provide up to $60,000 per scholar for up to three years
