Course description:听Advanced Plus is designed for people who have completed the Advanced and who have already had knowledge of the language through visiting the country or self-knowledge.听听
The course runs over three ten-week terms and each session is two hours long.听The course will cover the following:
Topics:听science and civilisation, culture: theatre, iconic places,听Macedonia in NATO, other topics chosen according to students鈥� interests.
Functions:听understanding colloquial language, basic accents, presenting and defending an argument, responding to criticism, preparing presentations, practising advanced translations
Grammar:听revision of grammar introduced on previous levels, expressing time with participial constructions, colloquial and regional grammar form, reported speech
Course materials:听press articles, books, audio and video clips.
Online source: Macedonian dictionary and linguistic corpora
It will be supported by additional materials created by the teacher (grammar exercises, role play, reading and listening comprehension).
