Coach
A coach is like a big bus that travels between cities on the motorway. The National Express coach company runs a coach service between London Heathrow airport and London Victoria coach station.
The coaches depart from terminals 2, 3 and 5 and tickets can be bought from the National Expess ticket desk at any of these terminals or you can buy them in advance on听their website.
- Bloomsbury campus
Route and journey time
Go to either terminals 2, 3, or 5 and take the:
- National Express coach to London Victoria Coach station. About 1 hour.
- Change to the听Victoria line听(northbound) to听Warren Street station. 14 minutes.
- Total time = about 1 hour听25 minutes.听

Route and journey time
Go to either terminals 2, 3, or 5 and take the:
National Express coach to London Victoria Coach station.听About 1 hour.
Change to the听Victoria line听(northbound) to Oxford Circus station. About 15 minutes.听听
Change to the Central line (eastbound) to Stratford station. About 25 minutes.
- Total time = about 1 hour 40 minutes;

Train
There are a few different train options to get from London Heathrow airport to central London.听London Heathrow airport has train stations for terminals 2 &听3 (one station for both terminals), 4 and 5 but not all the train options go from all the terminals.
- via the London Underground (Picaddilly line);
- via the London Underground (Elizabeth line);
- via the Heathrow Express.

Picadilly line
The Picaddilly line currently runs from terminals 2 & 3 and 5.
- London Heathrow airport station to Green Park station. 48 minutes.
- Change to the Victoria line (northbound) to Warren Street station.听14 minutes.
- Total time = about 1 hour 10 minutes;
Elizabeth line
The Elizabeth line currently runs from Heathrow airport terminals 2 & 3, 4 and 5.
Take either of the following options:
- London Heathrow airport station to Tottenham Court Road station. 32 minutes.
- Change to the Northern line (northbound) to Warren Street station. 6 minutes.
- Total time = about 46听minutes;
or
- London Heathrow airport station to Paddington station.听32 minutes.
- Change to either the Circle line or Hammersmith & City line (eastbound) to Euston Square. 11 minutes.
- Total time = about 43听minutes;

Heathrow Express
The Heathrow Express runs from Heathrow airport terminals 2 & 3听and 5.
Take either of the following options:
- London Heathrow airport station to Paddington station. 19 minutes.
- Change to the听Elizabeth line (westbound) to Tottenham Court Road station.听8听minutes.
- Change to the Northern line (northbound) to Warren Street station.听6 minutes.
- Total time = about 33听minutes;
or
- London Heathrow airport station to Paddington station. 19 minutes.
- Change to either the Circle line or Hammersmith & City line (eastbound) to Euston Square.听11 minutes.
- Total time = about 30听minutes;
- UCL East
Route and journey time
Picadilly line
The Picaddilly line currently runs from听Heathrow airport terminals 2 & 3 and 5.
- London Heathrow airport station to Holborn听station. 55 minutes.听
- Change听to the Central line (eastbound) to Stratford station. 20 minutes.
- Total time = about 1 hour 15听minutes;
Elizabeth line
The Elizabeth line currently runs from Heathrow airport terminals 2 & 3, 4 and 5.
Take either of the following options:
- London Heathrow airport station to Stratford station. 51听minutes.
- Total time = about 57听minutes;

- London Heathrow airport station to Paddington station. 32 minutes.
- Change to the Bakerloo line (southbound) to Oxford Circus station. 12 minutes.
- Change to the Central line (eastbound) to Stratford station. 22 minutes.

Heathrow Express
The Heathrow Express runs from Heathrow airport terminals 2 & 3听and 5.
Take either of the following options:
- London Heathrow airport station to Paddington station. 19 minutes.
Change to the next stage of the Elizabeth line (eastbound) to Liverpool Street station. 15 minutes.
Change to the next stage of the Elizabeth line (eastbound) to Stratford station. 10 minutes.
- Total time = about 44听minutes;
or
- London Heathrow airport station to Paddington station. 19 minutes.
Change to the Bakerloo line (southbound) to Oxford Circus station. 12 minutes.
Change to the Central line (eastbound) to Statford station. 22 minutes.
- Total time = about 53听minutes;
Taxi/Ride share
From Heathrow airport, there are plenty of options for taxis and ride shares. You can be picked up from outside terminals 2 & 3, 4 or 5. Please note that journey times and costs can change based on the time of day. We advise booking a car in advance if you plan on this option.
