UCL Therapeutic Acceleration Support (TAS) Fund

Overview

The UCL Therapeutic Acceleration Support (TAS) Fund is supported by funding from the MRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and the NIHR UCLH, GOSH and Moorfields Biomedical Research Centres (BRC) affiliated with UCL.

It aims to accelerate the transition from discovery science to the early stages of therapeutic, device and diagnostic development by providing responsive and flexible funding to support preliminary translational work to de-risk projects and prepare applications for further, larger translational funding schemes.

Remit of this Call

  • All modalities of therapy and diagnostics including engineering/medical technology, bioinformatics approaches & psychological interventions can be submitted for consideration. Applications from across the breadth of diseases researched in UCL and its partner hospitals will be welcomed.
  • Applications including an industry partner are encouraged
  • Before applying please read the to ensure that your project is in remit.ÌýApplications that do not conform to the brief will not be considered for funding.
