A blood study was performed and the primary FORECEE outcome was to test the laboratory sample processing pipeline and produced data for the quality control measure Ìýof our 'virtual micro-dissection' approach. The secondary outcome was understanding the anti-cancer effect of tumeric consumption at the level of DNA methylation.ÌýA sub-study of theÌýHorizon 2020 FORECEE (Female cancer predictiOn using ceRvical cEll omiCs to individualise prEvEntion) programme which Prof Martin Widschwendter leads and coordinates was presented in the BBC programme 'Trust Me I'm a Doctor' which was broadcast on BBC2 at 8pm on Thursday 22 September.Ìý
